Charger Skill Problem

Hello

I think it's the charger skill called 'Surprising Charge' where when you charge as charger, the charger goes invisible. I have maxed that, and when I charge I still see my self charge. I don't know if I can see it, or I shouldn't be able to see it.

I can still see my charger when I charge, but other's cant. Think it's supposed to be this way, unless I am wrong.

I don't see my charger until after hes done charging, so i can't really say if that's a problem or not..... as they can still see you before you charge and after.

 

Thats the point i think... your invisible when you charge..?

Otherwise it would be so overpowered.

 

Yeah, so WHILE I'm charging I am VISIBLE. Could an admin fix this for me? Or is this normal?

 

yeah talk to a root admin about it, maybe they could look at it for you.... because I think your the only one having this problem.

 

No he's not the only one, I can clearly see my charger when it's running really fast.

Nope. To make a player invisible, you would either modify an entity's enum RenderMode or this in pawn:

SetEntityRenderFx(ent_id, 5);

That change is a network flagged command and is completely global in nature. I use this command in PRev to make myself invisible when necessary (for example, when I am using a Chopper Gunner killstreak so that the character is invisible and the chopper can take over).

You guys haven't seen the new PRev (Points Revolution), but I think it's coming along well now. PRev is mainly based on Skill, not Level, though it includes Levels, Experience and points. Anyway, yeah.

 

Do you think you could help me fix my charger problem? Or should i just ask HC
