Bug/Glitch Exploit

I do not really know where to post this since I dont know the Steam ID or IP address from this player so I'll post it here

This guy is flying on No Mercy finale, we told him to come back to Earth but he went to the moon and he was killing every zombie instead of try to come down.

 

Maybe some admin teleported him into the sky?

 

There werent any donors or admins in that game, and the only thing I saw is that he went from the ground to sky, and he didnt try to atleast go down, he grabbed a sniper rifle and started to snipe.
But the worst thing is that he kept going up, like a minute later he dissapeared.

 

maybe undercover Admin? Which server was this?

 

I dont remember well the server but im sure there werent any admin cuz there was no teleport, teleport is instant and unic move, that guy was moving slow, so i think is noclip or bug or glitch. Anyways that guy was exploiting it.

 

This exact same glitch happened to me the other day. I was in no mercy finale and i hit the trash can with that one ledge that choochoo built. At the same time someone was getting karma and everything went slow motion. All of a sudden i started flying and i was like WTFFFF lol. Everyone else was like wtff to lol and i couldnt come down. After i reached the top of the map it stopped going up and it teleported me back down. Also the guy that hotgun is explaining wasnt me lol i dont use sniper rifles =p but yeah i guess a new flying bug discovery? no clue how it happened though

 

Wait, so you just randomly flew up into the air?

Did you get hit by the charger when in slow motion?

I don't see how this is possible...

Whoops i meant mine was before no mercy finale and no i didnt get hit by charger. I saw someone flying in the air on no mercy finale to. He was last alive and hunted and just started floating while being hunted. Its a bug but its rare wen it happens

 

I saw someone doing this the other day. I believe its a glitch where a survivor standing on a particular spot will fly up as descirebed when hit by a spitter. It seems specific to the No Mercy finale and anyone seen flying like this will most likely have done it intentionally. Since it requires a direct spitter shot, its only likely to happen on Co-op. Theres a couple of videos on YT showing it, called "spitter glitch" or something.

 

No there was no karma charge or karma bitch slap.

Yes, we were against a normal tank and he started to fly. (there was no earthquake cuz tank wasnt paranoia, but I wasnt flying, I was dead cuz we fough a paranoia tank.

 

This actually happened to me a couple months back. I just started flying up stopped at some point, then I remained stuck up there till at some point I was teleported back to ground. I dunno how it happened, but it's definitely a bug.

BTW this also happened to me as a tank on Cold Stream 2. Right as the survivors came out of the stairwell I got a tank and it was airborn, far above the survivors and I could walk around on invisible ground. I tried everything I could to come down till I stepped out of map, fell down back to the ground but since I was out of the map I was insta killed.

 

I think it's the trashcan.
Last time, I was playing on No Mercy; right before you enter the hospital. I was on the LA COOP server, and there were 5 survivors on the top of a waiting shed. They jumped down and landed on the trashcan (Which was tipped over at the time), and it propelled them back up into the air; like a trampoline. Of course, the minute you move from the area of the trashcan and land on the ground, you will die. Soon, they all died. Later, Yoyo did the same, and he ended up on one of those fire escape stairs. He was stuck there; and he eventually jumped down and killed himself.
I tried it on a standing trashcan, and it didn't work. I tipped it over, and the same thing happened to me. Luckily I landed on the waiting shed and the drop was low; so I was able to escape.
Blame the trashcan, people.

 

thats a valve glitch, i play it at a survival server, if spliter split out of the building the split will just remain on the floor and will not disappear, if a surv jump on it they will fly like jesus lol.

 

I've never seen this bug or flew up in the air myself

 

just to update this string of no mercy flying incidents, it just happened to me while the event was going on last night and i jumped on a dumpster to get away from spitter acid. what's worse it after being thrown up the shaman tank smashed on an incapped survivor and i ended up out of the map.

 

Doesn't going !afk teleports bot back to the ground? It should so try it next time .. Wait for like 30 secs - 1 min..

 

the trashcan bug is valve's problem. happends on all servers.

but this new bug must be triggered of one of our scripts i believe. as i hear 3-4 different ways this is happening lol

 

there was no going afk for me, i died out of bounds.
as for the trashcan thing being a valve problem... didn't know better.
i suppose i should hope that a solution to the problem be found ASAP.
