Appalling community.

So I joined an MG server for the very first time. Map No Mercy, the final. A player called "KoopA" starts giving orders to everyone on how to play, I just rolled with it. His plan failed massively and I start to question why he thought his plan was ultimately "successful". He then says I wasn't following his orders when a matter of fact I was, so I then state that nobody should listen to him and just play to how YOU want to play it. Seems reasonable? Apparently not. I then get vote kicked by him and everyone apart from me agrees. In my opinion, if he is an admin or has responsibilities for that server then remove them from him. He is not capable and is very childish.

Everybody wanted play in teamplay, you wasn t and you was farming so we started votekick...

Just to clairify, Koopa is not an admin. However, he is the highest lv non-admin on all the servers (lv. 115ish), which might be why everyone agrees with him/her and why he/she gives orders.


Not sure if that is why, but it might be a contribution.

Always two parts to the story.

 

I stated that you had executed a vote kick towards me because my entitled opinion had upset you. You were ordering everyone around on how to play and that plan of yours got everyone killed. It's fun to play the game independently but still co-operating as a team. What do you mean I was "farming"?

 

OK, Koopa stop bringing in a mate to back you up, it just isn't going to work around here. You wouldn't believe the amount of complaints I have against you.

MG is a large community with multiple servers, thousands of players. Like in any game, there will be people you do not appreciate, that's just how it is. Overall, I find that MG has a good community with responsive admins, and is very fun. To tell you the truth, MG is the only server I play online on.

Now dats satisfaction.

I think you'll be able to find your happiness on the servers, and most here will look forward to playing with you some time.

 

Sorry Legend, he didnt ask me to back him up. I just was passing by and read it. I said that people listen to him because that's what I did when I was a low level. I thought that all the higher levels were experts and that they know what to do, so I listened to everything they said. I wasnt trying to get involved, I was just saying what I was thinking. I am like Switzerland here, neutral. (Twilight reference)

 

You are probably right, however, this rant you could say was based on my first impressions. I respect your comment and I will also be looking forward to play with you some time. :-)

i just tried to make people respect rules but i see it s not my role!

sad of complains legend if you know ..

 

I had a talk with KoopA. He said he'll only use the votekick now to kick hackers/cheaters/racists/AFKs etc and said he won't use it without reason anymore.

If you think he was an admin, an MG admin will never interfere in the gameplay unless its against server rules or if there is abuse.

 

does the premium account reduce your lag to 1 on all servers as well? :|

 

No, but you can do it manually by typing cl_cmdrate +100 in Console.

 

cl_cmdrate +100 just mask ur ping thats it...not reduce lag...
