Antivirus for mobile phone/tablet?

    I just bought Kaspersky for 10 Euros for my Android phone.

    Not that i may ever need it, but just in case..

    Most likely 90% of us have Android or IOS phones, so i'm curious.. Do YOU use any security app on your mobile device? And have you ever got infected by something?

    If not, why? Is it futile or does it take too much battery?

    AVG Antivirus Mobile. It's free and uses its trusted engine.

    i have never actually considered this, why would you need some type of security on a mobile though i never heard of a virus being passed onto one? now its been mentioned though i feel like i should go download that AVG one on my phone
