An Idea for Honor-Mission in Co-op

So, i was talking to a guy on the forum chat and he told me to pitch my idea here for the L4D2 RPG servers.

In co-op, if you are under X level, you can try to do rambo/honor mission. since not everyone is incredibaly high level or good to do it on Versus mode only. So it would be giving a fair chance for the lower levels to have a shot at the more challenging of challenges.

This is in my own opinion as well, the man told me to pitch it here, so, your opinion?

 

aa..ummm...you mean give the lower lvls an excuse to rush to the safe-room or lag behind expecting everyone else to do all the work while they stay hidden for their Honor mission? Have seen it happen more then once: 4 high levels trying to protect each-other and make the last 15-20 feet to the safe-room, while low lvls were just sitting inside looking at the wall AND DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

My opinion, it wouldn't work, cause i spam molly's every time i have the bounty and shoot pretty much at anything that moves and is not human. A low lvl has almost no iron skin, so friendly fire is imminent. The choice is not hard to make

• Throw a molly, kill 20 zombies and do not lose health, and a lowlie risks to lose his challenge, OR
• Do not throw the molly, lose health and the lowlie comes and sweeps any toaster you might get or just runs past you when you are in-capped cause he doesn't want to lose his challenge.

I personally will always go for option 1. MOLLY SPAAAAMMMM

 

ah, i can see the problem in this man, when i hit level 50, i was happy to not get burned every 5 seconds on some servers, but this is for generally low level populated servers, not really meant for level 100's n such running around on.

 

its harder to do rambo/honor in coop than in vs... lol

 

I did do honor mission once in co-op and it didn't award points, he has a good point of standing back for support of lower level players (i was 40 at the time). But they may lag behind anyway to avoid mollies, at least that was what I was forced to do being higher level players kept throwing them when I wasn't fireproof. It made the fellow survivors more deadly than the common IMO.
