add new asian server to PR mgftw server??

I understand that you want a server in Singapore but it's very difficult. The problem is the game, L4D(2), it doesn't support 20 players by default and believe it or not, most L4D2 players still play vanilla (4 players coop, or 4 versus 4 with no mods at all).

So, to make a successful 20 versus or 16 coop server you can't just put a server in a certain country and expect it to fill up, we've seen this in Australia, there's just not enough people joining the server so if we add a new server it has to be suitable (very suitable) for both national and international connections. Like our dutch server we focus on entire Europe, not just one country. Same goes for Asia, if we put a server there it has to serve like 5/6 countries to be successful.

It's not that easy you know, most dedicated servers in Asia cost about $100 - $200 each month and if it lacks players it is of no use to us. Besides that, most Asian connections are not that good, you have the great firewall in China which is very laggy (to say the least) and you have the surrounding countries with bad infrastructure.

So for now, we'll be focusing on a new Hong Kong server first with better international connections and we'll go from there to see what is possible but we can't just focus on one country unless it's big enough like the united states or Brazil.
