Achievment idea and Group player of the week for the year section.

Ok well I have 2 ideas one is very simple and I might just do it myself but the other is this.

Well i was looking at the new player of the week and It's lola correct? Well how about this for a achievement kill the group player of the week, It would be kinda like well lets see who gets a target painted on their backs this week lol. Kinda cruel but people would be paying more attention of the player of the week to make sure it was/wasn't them.


I know everyones gonna come post and say this is a terrible idea but it might be fun for giggles.

The section though for the group players of the week for the year it would be kinda like a honor thing be in the (MG hall of fame) rather the (MG hall of shame).

I'm not sure gimme some feedback if you like it or not but its just a thought.

 

It's not viable. The objective of Player of The Week is to keep the player playing. If we offer an achievement to kill them then they wouldn't play for a week! We don't want that.

On the other hand, the Player of the Year idea is alright. But the only players that have played for over a year are people with 20+ days (i.e the top ranked players).

I had an idea a while back where Player of the Week got donor privileges for a day. By the way, Player of the Week is calculated by the largest amount of kills in the week previous in L4D1/2. I would still like the idea to be inputted

 

I remember when I first joined I was developing a Player of the Month HLstatsX mod. It's half complete anyways.

 

Like i was saying its gonna be hated or loved.


Player of the year idea I think would be greatly loved, but what i also meant was like Lola was this weeks player of the week. 52 weeks 52 winners? You see also my idea about killing the player of the week was a idea at 5:30 am so my mind thought it was a good idea lol.

 

But it still is possible. I wasn't beating the idea down. I just want you to think about all the downsides like linking the Player of the Week to the MG group page and configuring the whole custom achievments again and again to add and delete a player.

Well here is something to take into consideration, when i became admin I got a big red bullseye on my back on the vs servers because everyone wants to be able to say they killed a admin. Another bad idea is having the admin of the month being targeted everyone should be used to it by now right?

I also am thinking that this is a bad idea already but I'll continue with my post.

Also unrelated to what I started this for is that one of my friends has been catching racism screen shots when theres no admin in the server hes in or I'm at work he sends me the pics through skype and my photobucket has them uploaded http://s454.photobucket.com/albums/qq269/xxMrxSkaterxx/Mgs naughty list/

Not trying to make a app for him but his name is Death God, people have been asking if hes admin because hes always on.

Idk just something that popped up when i was playing with him before.

Getting back to the original discussion Its only a idea It makes sence to not put the work into a week achievement because creating things like that is a pain in the ass I know I tryed codeing and mine never worked correctly I could get them to work for the most part but yes the week player wouldn't want to be [ainted red while all the bulls charge at them. I just had a quick idea and didn't think it through.

Death God is not an admin and people do player longer than he does, though, it will be good to have another USA admin.

Also on the points server I'm not sure if its a glitch or what but people been spamming lotto and winning everytime. Idk if its a glitch or it does it for them. I played the lowgrade lotto for 50 times never won,

but some of the players kept doing it over and over and won every single time. Is it harder for the admins to win? Or is it just cause it happens? 0.0
