About quests

I am pretty much a newbie, so go easy on me, i do not have much knowledge on this part >.>

So, in this thread :

It says the following :

In order to begin a quest, use the NPC Radio available on all safe rooms or specific locations on all maps

I've checked both on regular coop and extreme coop, asked players, saw all quests (even printed them all) and it's completely incorrect.

Quest items and radios are only avaible on dead center map 2 and parish map 1. Considering i need lot of time to log in, the bot is either dead or we are at the end of the map, so i don't have any chances to even accept quests. So yeah, i would like to ask about quest items being spread - i saw on parish map one in the kitchen like 15 tv's, the heck?

Was this asked before? Is it going to be fixed?

Well, I've seen radios in many many places including mid map and in the ending safe room. This includes TP 1 and 2, Dead Center 1 & 2 (DC2 sometimes has 4 radios in 1 map, 1 at the beginning, 1 at the gun store, 1 next to the medical tents in the parking lot near the end and 1 in the ending safe room. I've also seen a radio in Swamp Fever. All in all there's plenty of places to hit up on a radio.\

If it takes you 5 minutes to load up a map and the bots (bots!!) get to end a map before you get in maybe it's time to get a new PC? When I load in bots are always still in the safe room.

BTW this thread would be better suited in the quests forum

I've never seen any on any other places than those that i've already listed.

Oh, and my internet speed is 2 mb/s...
But i do not think that's the problem, the loading times are big even when i play single player.

Should i decrease the video settings? They are moderate-high (automatically set).

EDIT : I did the things i listed, definetely helped.

But i got another question

I tried playing PR on the LA server with 32 people, and it says that the version is 2.0.9.2.

That patch hasn't gone out yet, so what.the.hell.

?

Have you close out your game so it can update? also this needs to be in the quest thread

 

What do you mean? The game does not auto-update itself...

 

Steam will only update the game once the left 4 dead 2 is not running so exit the game and let steam update it..

Yep, my country does not allow paypal so i can't buy the game. Heck, the stores only sell pirate versions of this game.
