about crash (PR-COOP + VS)

    Whenever i play Dark Carnival finale, when the finale starts and firework comes, i get crashed.

    And also, i get crashed when finale ends in every maps. When the reward comes out, like 14survivors survived, some cashes and xp gives.

    How to solve crash? However, in VS mode i dont crashed after finale ends.

    Also sometimes, when the chp ends i get crash..!! maybe it is my computer problem..

    Although the servers often crash, if there is a pattern of crashing only after finales, your game/PC may be the issue. I would try two things.

    1. Play the finales on single player mode and see if it still crashes. This will isolate whether it is an online issue, or game issue in general.

    2. Verify the integrity of the game cache (in the game properties). If that does not fix the issue, you might need to delete and re-download the whole game.

    1. I tried single mode and didnt have any problem, + i tried campaign mode with others still no problem

    2. you mean make properties low? im using recommended properties.

    I had simillar problem crashing on any bigger explosions on l4d finales, it must be your gpu
    Try helped to me :latest update windows,then latest gpu driver,if new driver doesent fix then go to steam/game/right click on l4d2/Click on Properties/local files/Verify Integrity of game cache/ take some time/after finish steam will autoupdate missing files.

    Also, do you have a lot of steam workshop items running for l4d? Like Tank said above, maybe lower the resolution/graphic settings and see if you can make it through.

    Change your paged pool memory setting and also multicore rendering.

    Thank you for detailed solution, i checked windows upgrade and graphic upgrade and i verified the game cache, after that it said all is ok. i hope the crash fixed :)

    Thank you tank or friend, i did as you said, the crash is fixed, now i can play without leaving game and get in repeatedly. Now i need to check dark carnival, if i dont get crash from finale, then everything is fixed.

    Anytime!

    In PR-VS if you are MOVING in ghost while you click to spawn, it can kick you. Hold still and you won't crash. Finally figured that out a couple days ago. Thanks to Duncan for helping test this theory.
