Ability to teleport to survivors as an infected while in spawn mode

I play the PR servers mostly nowadays, and almost all the time when I play there will be rushers on the other team. Either that or, if the game is not full, there would be bots stuck at the back.

On the less populated PR servers like Hong Kong and Australia(or at least whenever I play there's not many people), there will be many bots on both teams.

As expected, the human players will rush and leave the bots behind.

The frustrating thing about this is that, as an infected, when you appear in spawn mode, you will almost always be where the bots are, while the human players are rushing.

Pressing E will often just teleport you to ANOTHER bot thats just right beside, and even if you spam press E to get the the human player (Who is really far in front) you would have lost valuable time.

The flying ability with the reload button is great, but sometimes certain maps are small and confined, eg No Mercy stage 4:The Hospital, and thus is not very good to use.

Maybe there should be a menu which shows the (survivors)players names and selecting them would teleport you to them. That way you can get to the rushing survivors quickly and not lose any time in trying to delay/stop them, as many a time the survivors have reached because I could never get to them in time.

this would give more advantage to the infected as you can instantly get to them.. and with the new revive update... your idea will overwhelm the survivor and even lower the chances of survival.

i personally would go fly over to the rusher in ghost mode.. as like you said pressing e will only lead u back to the bots behind... i dont hink theres a fix for this.. been like that since l4d1.

 

Actually, you can warp from survivor to survivor on L4D1 by holding E. Good eh? Now would it be wise to add it to L4D2?

 

the E spam only teleports you to the Main characters still alive. so if a human player is rushing and is a main. you will get teleported to him

 

The problem with flying is like I said, certain maps are in really confined places so flying doesn't work.

 

Sometimes the rusher isn't a main, because people don't know what mains are.

can give it a try.. but not sure it would work well in PR with the revive update..

kinda overwhelming already for the survivors.. but potentially works very good for infected..
