A few new upgrade ideas for PR COOP

  1. Hey, i have come up with a few ideas for some new upgrades for survivors. Let me know what you think.

    Iron Foot - Spitter damage takes longer to take effect

    Level 1 - 0.5 seconds Level required: 15 Points: 240
    Level 2 - 1 second Level required: 21 Points: 480
    Level 3 - 1.5 seconds Level required: 32 Points: 920
    Level 4 - 2 seconds Level required: 45 Points: 1250
    Level 5 - 2.5 seconds Level required: 57 Points: 2000
    Level 6 - 3 seconds Level required: 65 Points: 3200
    Level 7 - 5 seconds Level required: 88 Points: 5000

    Backbone - Charger Damage is reduced

    Level 1 - 3% Level required: 20 Points: 250
    Level 2 - 6% Level required: 31 Points: 750
    Level 3 - 9% Level required: 43 Points: 1250
    Level 4 - 12% Level required: 55 Points: 3000
    Level 5 - 15% Level required: 67 Points: 4500
    Level 6 - 18% Level required: 79 Points: 6000
    Level 7 - 25% Level required: 91 Points: 8000

    MetalHead - Jockey damage is reduced

    Level 1 - 3% Level required: 12 Points: 150
    Level 2 - 6% Level required: 16 Points: 340
    Level 3 - 9% Level required: 22 Points: 720
    Level 4 - 12% Level required: 28 Points: 1200
    Level 5 - 15% Level required: 36 Points: 1950
    Level 6 - 18% Level required: 48 Points: 2600
    Level 7 - 25% Level required: 62 Points: 3200

    Nicotine Free - Increased chance that the smokers tounge won't latch on

    Level 1 - 3% Level required: 20 Points: 1000
    Level 2 - 6% Level required: 32 Points: 2200
    Level 3 - 9% Level required: 44 Points: 3600
    Level 4 - 12% Level required: 58 Points: 5000
    Level 5 - 15% Level required: 72 Points: 6600

    Level 7 - 25% Level required: 100 Points: 9000

    Fat Fighters - Increased chance that the Boomers Bile won't blind the survivor

    Level 1 - 3% Level required: 18 Points: 750

    Level 4 - 12% Level required: 50 Points: 3400

    Iron Stomach - Hunter Damage is reduced

    Level 1 - 3% Level required: 16 Points: 560
    Level 2 - 6% Level required: 22 Points: 880
    Level 3 - 9% Level required: 34 Points: 1720
    Level 4 - 12% Level required: 46 Points: 3100
    Level 5 - 15% Level required: 58 Points: 4400

    I'm just wondering if these would make those highest level players who have points to burn virtually invulnerable to lower-mid level players.
     
  3. I don't like it... It would be like annuling what we achieved. The best way would be compensating, not annulating... :s
     
  4. I agree with that Tyler. That's why i think those upgrades should only work on COOP not Vs :)

    I like it but players will comeback complaining coop is even easier this time with those new abilities..
     
  7. Yeah looking at it, it may make things even easier but they could be toned down or adjusted etc
    Still just ideas aye :) Then again it may give people who are left behind a higher survival rate. Haha but then really better team play could avoid those issues altogether.

    when i look at your avatar, it suddenly reminds me of how much i miss when LOTR was the buzz in those days.

    i even have all of their games all the way to witch king... then lotr online came, wanted to play it but had to subscribe, no money back then, was still a student, now i got money, but need to save for new computer.. sigh..

    One idea that may not be too bad is a minor damage resistance for a survivor who is X units away from the party. So someone who has been left behind is 'more determined/fighting for their life/left for dead..." and becomes X% resistant to damage until within sight of another survivor.

    I dont like this.. in versus.. all of them would be too overpowered..

    in coop, the game would be too easy, since infected players are bots, and the game is already too easy for high levels.
     
  11. Yeah i miss it to :( Still they have made a movie about me which is coming out at the end of the year i think. Finally some recognition. I was asked to play the part of myself but the business comes first. Still i sent my story to hollywood as a joke whilst high with Gandallf one night and hey presto a movie and i get a nice cut from the box office aswell. Good times

    Higher level would complain about COOP being really easy and lower level would complain about Higher level who rush and let them die.
