Admin Complain Jost.

    So yeah i'm a new player and i've read how the game works.

    After a while i wanted to have fun and took a sniper rifle and pretended like i shot people so i would get killed for that. Then Jost decided to ban me for 30 min and have a reason "rdm" for it. I was fine with it since it was 30 minutes.

    After the ban i have been playing for a few hours normally and then this admin decided to ban me because someone said KOS + my name in chat and i got 7 days ban which is unfair. It seems to me like the Admin isn't capable of rational thinking thus there would be no proof nor evidence of me "griefing" in these hours since i never did anything like that. I didn't kill any surviver in those hours as a survivor which can be checked by logs {see the time of the ban}.

    All this concludes is that this "admin" shouldn't be in power to have admin rights, emotional reasoning is most likely due to the low age.


    I don't like complaining but i will always be the guy who will report unfair and power abusing behaviour, because there will always be people who let it slide so the "admin" never sees consequences or warning.

    Now, why would you do that? xD Obviously if you are not playing as infected, all Survivor to Survivor damage is considered "rdm" or random shooting. How can you be sure you didn't actually hit anyone?

    On top of that you are fooling fellow survivors to kill you thus making them lose score and points and possibly even get them autobanned. If you played as infected and do this i doubt anyone gives a shit since you'd just expose yourself.

    Thats what you get for shooting around madly and acting like an infected, while being actually a survivor. You made others think that you're infected and the admin figured the ruse and decided to ban you since you did not play according the rules.. If anyone had killed you after that "kos/kill on sight" call, they'd just be killing fellow survivor.

    To be honest, in this situation I would have banned you as well =/ It really messes up the game mode if all survivors started shooting around each others just for the fun of it.

    You gotta solve this with Jost, and i'm pretty sure he eventually responds. It will be up to him wethever or not your ban protest gets approved or declined.

    As per what you told, there was no admin abuse at all in my opinion.

    Hello thanks for your respond,

    Shooting to the ground and near people isn't considered "KOS", and there will always be people who will yell in chat "KOS" when it clearly says it's against the rules to accuse someone of KOS'ing. Thanks to these people i get killed because someone decides to write "KOS" in chat for shooting randomly near them.

    It says nowhere in the rules that you can't pretend like you're an "infected" so i suggest you to update it since the ban isn't legitimate but made of false accusations. The admin "Jost" was even standing near me when i took the minigun and was spraying it on wall's or other objects, then the people started yelling i Ko's because i was using the minigun. Again it states nowhere in the rules that you can't shoot randomly or pretend you're infected without doing any damage thus making my ban un legitimate.

    It shouldnt' be for Jost to decide about my ban but for Server owners since if you let them decide it gives them full power and make them always get away with full power. Not everybody is fully trusted and i know that admins act in packs if someone gets accused they rush in to defend them, not saying yet it's for this server also.

    Anyway thanks for reading.

    It doesn't say anywhere that you aren't allowed call KOS as infected either.. :)

    It's not about "full power" or anything that sort. Obviously you will have to solve this with the admin who were there at the time and saw the whole situation.

    If you came next to me and started shooting randomly towards me, I would call KOS on you as well. that's pretty hostile act :P

    People can be mysterious, they can approach me, bounce me and so on, but the moment someone pulls trigger on me, I'll either call KOS on him or shoot back.. Then If he was actually a fellow survivor just doing it to get me slay him, I would call that griefing already.

    If you are bored as survivor, feel free jump down from a building after round starts, and you lose 100 points each time you suicide. By the time your points hits "0", you get 5-day autoban by the console and have your points reset at "500". Nothing in the rules forbids this either, but at least its a better solution that rdm:in out of boredom.

    On a side note, i'd rather wonder what other players think about acting like that.

    Now of course, if I am wrong of everything, Jost, Razor, Honorcode or Marvel or someone else will likely correct my mistakes in these posts and fix the rules and possibly do something about your ban, so let's wait for a more qualified answer :)

    You random shot me. I checked my console and saw that the damage came from you, so i warned you. I spectated you and you continued. Result: 30min ban
    You returned, started to call out names in chat and kept the random shooting... i even warned you several times again!

    I totally agree with stefeman, and i have some backup from non-admin players.

    I was pretending i was sniping people then you decided to follow me and then shooting me thinking i was infected that's why i shot back so don't lie. WHen you killed me as a "survivor" you decided to ban me because you were mad. I called names in chat because others were doing the same but this has nothing to do with you banning me and putting the reason as "griefing" the players who will back you up are with you in the pack and told you to ban me in chat because they didn't like me shit talking back to them again this has nothing to do with you putting "griefing" in the ban reason.

    Seeing that you decided to lie about all this, proofs to me that i'm right and you're wrong that's enough for me.

    I hope karma will get you, and to the server owner i suggest you to keep your admins in check and record video evidence before banning that will prevent unnecessary and false bans in the future.

    Ofcourse he will shoot and ban you. You acting like an infected so he killed you like everyone would and since you were a survivor you were trying to trick people to lose karma by killing you which is not allowed. That has nothing to do with him being mad or anything.

    Seems like an obv. case to me, the last thing you want as survivor is to let your fellow survivors think you're infected so your own gameplay caused this problem.

    Don't shoot people, or shoot near people as survivor just for the lulz it makes no sense at all. As survivor you should only worry about surviving and help identify the infected.

    I couldn't even bother to look at the your team damage logs due the filesize, so I guess thats about it for the rdm claims?

    To show respect towards your claims, I ended up spending full 2 hours digging through logfiles for bullshit text like this. I'm actually considering banning you for 5 years until you turn 15 and grow up, as based on the above text you can't be any older than a 10 years old brat.

    However since Jost banned you, he will be the one to decide when and if you ever can join back into the servers. I just decided to leave this here to show what kind of person you really are.

    I can't read the whole chat during game, first because there is hidden stuff in dead chat sometimes and second i want to enjoy the game too and don't read everything. I realized that by reading the logs :D

    The logs confirm my position:

    - You'll sit out the ban.
    - You get one last chance to play on that server.
    - If you break the rules again and an admin is on the server or we get information from regular players, you will get a permban.

    As a regular player i think i can speak for everyone on the server that night if i say that we all supported the descision of Jost and were glad he took it. Eventhough the logs shared by stefeman are incomplete i believe it shows that enough players were tired of the spam and the messages it contained. Secondly my apologies for my choice of language in the logs, as well as the usage of capslock. As the creator of this post continued his spam during 2 maps, i tried to make sure (of which i wasnt sure) the playing admins noticed (forgetting the command to directly contact admins)

    Your reaction was justified, the logs are incomplete from conversation point of view, because I simply could not add everything into one post, so I focused on the important parts and what this woman_pleaser1337 said during his entire time on the server. I couldn't bother to add everyone's replies because the logfile had several millions of lines which most of them were doorspam, vocalize taunts, damage reports.

    The amount of actual chatlogs in the logfile was less than 0.01% It was impossible (and useless) to include everything what various players said, as i went through the logfile via "Find next" command by using the SteamID of Woman_pleaser1337

    Since the issue has been conculded throughly, I will close this thread now.
