Spitter Buffs (IBaR V1.1.0)
  • Spitter Buffs
    [Damage dealer role]

    Enhanced Acid Claws

    Description:
Increases by 12 the damage done by the Acid Claws skill.

    Positives
+ Largely increased damage dealt to the survivors while exposing them to your acid for several hits by melee attack.
+ A useful buff if you want to start being a huge threat to survivors with your damaging attacks.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
The Enhanced Acid Claws Buff increases the damage done by the Acid Claws skill by a lot to survivors exposed by the acid for several seconds. A useful buff if you want to start being a huge threat to survivors with your highly damaging acid attacks.

    Spit fixed damage

    Description:
Your spit deals 2HP fixed base damage instead of gradually going from 0 to 5.

    Positives
+ Your spit may now be more effective against damaging survivors in maps with larger areas.

    Negatives
    - Your spit may now be less effective against damaging survivors in maps with shorter areas.

    Explanation:
The Spit fixed damage Buff now makes your spit deal a small fixed amount of damage per hit instead of gradually increasing and decreasing. It is a positive to expect that your spit damage may make you more effective against survivors in larger maps. However it is also a negative to know that your spit damage may make you less effective against survivors in smaller maps.

    Propellant Acid

    Description:
Decreases claw hit interval (increases attack speed) of special infected inside your acid by 15%
    <Does not work with tanks>

    Positives
+ Special Infected that go inside your acid will get a small increase in attack speed
+ A useful buff if you want to make the damage dealt on nearby survivors be done faster than normal.

    Negatives
    - The buff effect won't work with tanks

    Explanation:
The Propellant Acid Buff lets special infected that are inside it benefit from a small increase in attack speed. A useful buff if you want to help them out with making the damage dealt on nearby survivors be done faster than normal. Just remember that you cannot make a tank kill survivors faster.

    Effervescence

    Description:
When a survivor dies from your acid, another acid pool will appear under the corpse. Incapacitating a survivor has a 20% chance of spawning an additional acid pool.

    Positives
+ When a survivor is killed by your acid, an additional acid pool will immediately spawn under the survivors dead body/corpse. If a survivor is incapacitated by your acid, there is a small chance of another acid pool appearing.
+ A useful buff to have in all roles that the Spitter has since it can be combined with many useful Spitter buffs.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
You do want to give the survivors more pain than ever by burning them right? let the Effervescence Buff do that for you. If a survivor happens to die from your acid attack, another acid pool will appear under where the dead body/corpse is. Not only that but when you do incapacitate a survivor with your acid, there is a low chance of another acid pool spawning on their location as well. It is the best useful buff to have on spitters since it can be used by all roles and has many benefits that make other useful buffs even better.

    Acid reaction

    Description:
You deal additional damage with your claws equal to 1% of the target's maximum health plus 2% of the target's current health if the target has received damage from any acid pool within the last 3 seconds.

    Positives
+ You deal additional damage with your claws equal to a small percentage of the targets maximum health plus a small percentage of the targets current health if the survivor has received damage from any acid pool within the last few seconds.
+ A useful buff to have for when you want to get additional damage going after you have spitted and want to cause further pain.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
Pffffff! ahhhhhh! what was that? it hurt me! *Ellis Says*. The Acid Reaction Buff lets you deal additional damage with your claws equal to a small percentage of the survivors maximum health plus a small percentage of the survivors current health if the survivor has received damage from any acid pool within the last few seconds. A useful buff to have on for when you want to get additional damage going after you have spitted and want to cause further pain.

    Joke's On You

    Description:
Your acid deals 50% more damage if you are dead.

    Positives
+ Acid attacks deal moderately increased damage if you die.
+ A useful buff to have on the spitter for when you want to get more survivors incapacitated in close range or to make sure that they actually stop being in the acid due to it's damage.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
The Joke's On You Buff lets your acid deal moderately increased damage if you are dead. A useful buff to have on the spitter for when you want more survivors to be incapacitated in close range or if you want to make sure that they stop being in the acid and stay around for a short window.

    [Slower role]

    Corrosion

    Description:
Applies corrosion stacks (from the corrosive tank) on each acid hit.

0.2HP max health reduction per hit (Min: 20 HP).
0.001 speed reduction per hit (Min: 0.95).
0.0003 swing speed reduction per hit (No minimum).

    Positives
+ You can apply corrosion stacks on the survivors with each hit of your acid, reducing basic stats.
+ Small corrosion stacking stacks that become high in numbers make getting back that maximum HP, maximum speed or maximum swing speed much more difficult to do compared to Corrosive Tank's higher corrosion stacking stacks that are easier to get rid of.
+ A useful buff to have for the Spitter in the Slower role for when you want to not just slow down survivors but add additional slowness to them with the corrosion stacks.

    Negatives
    - Nothing

    Explanation:
The Corrosion Buff that used to exist only as an ability on the Corrosive Tank is also now for the spitter, with reduced effects. For each hit of your acid, you can apply corrosion stacks on the survivors that reduce basic stats. If these small corrosion stacks become very high in numbers across all affected survivors, restoring back that maximum HP, maximum movement speed or maximum swing speed will prove to be very difficult since only a very small amount is restored back compared to a large amount of the Corrosive Tank's Corrosion Ability. A useful buff to have for the Spitter in the Slower role for when you don't want to just slow down survivors, but to add an additional layer of slowness in there to make sure they are progressing slower than normal.

    Ultra Sticky Goo

    Description:
Survivors inside your acid are unable to crawl

    Positives
+ Incapacitated survivors inside your acid cannot crawl away.
+ You can combine this buff with the normal Sticky Goo Buff to make getting away hard.
+ A useful buff to have to make bitch slapping or charging incapacitated survivors much easier to do.

    Negatives
    - Nothing

    Explanation:
The Sticky Goo is more improved! introducing the new Ultra Sticky Goo Buff! It can no longer slow down survivors that are standing but it will completely stop incapacitated survivors from crawling away. You can combine this buff with the Sticky Goo buff to make the survivors that are standing slower and harder to get away from the acid. A useful buff to have to make bitch slapping or charging incapacitated survivors much easier to pull off.

    Sticky Goo

    Description:
Instantly reduces the speed of nearby survivors to 25% upon contact with your acid.
<If survivors have already 25% less speed by other sources, this buff does nothing>

    Positives
+ While survivors are in your acid, they suffer an instantaneously large movement speed reduction.
+ You can combine this buff with the Ultra Sticky Goo Buff to make survivors incapacitated and inside your acid unable to crawl away.
+ A useful buff to have when you need to slow down survivors in any area.

    Negatives
    - If survivors have speed reduced to 25% or less by other sources, the effect of this buff wont work on them.

    Explanation:
The Sticky Goo Buff lets your acid instantly reduce the movement speed of survivors inside it by a large amount. You can combine this buff with the Ultra Sticky Goo Buff to make survivors incapacitated and inside your acid unable to crawl away. A useful buff to have in general for when you need to slow down the progress of survivors in just about any area.

    Isolated

    Description:
Your acid slows lonely survivors by 9% per hit.

    Positives
+ Your acid slows any survivor that is alone by a small amount per hit.

    Negatives
    - The Sticky Goo Buff is preferably the better buff to get the slowing down job done.

    Explanation:
Who is the isolated survivor? well how about having the Spitter have the Isolated Buff making an impact on that survivor? you can slow down lonely survivors by up to a large amount of speed reduction by spitting on them for a few seconds, then letting another infected like the hunter kill that survivor himself. Preferably though, the Sticky Goo Buff will be the better method of slowing down survivors in this situation.

    [Healer role]

    Protective Acid

    Description:
Special infected inside your acid will receive 15% less damage

    Positives
+ Any special infected inside your acid receive a small amount of damage reduction for the duration of the acid
+ A useful buff to have when you combine it with the effervescence buff and when tanks are in play.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
How supportive do you want to be of your team? does the propellant acid buff's attack speed effect prove to not be a good enough buff for you? how about defending your team? The Protective Acid Buff lets your acid reduce damage dealt to infected inside the acid by a small amount. A useful buff to have for when you combine it with the effervescence buff and when any tank is in play.

    Acid Deletion

    Description:
If you expose a survivor corpse for more than 1 minute to your acid it will be unable to be revived.

    Positives

+ After your acid exposes a survivor corpse for a long period of time, it becomes unrevivable.
+ A useful buff for when you want to prevent the enemy team from gaining a higher score than your team in the current round.

    Negatives
    - A less useful buff if your focusing less on non-support buffs.

    Explanation:
Don't want a dead survivor to be brought back to life? spit on his corpse with your acid and he will soon disappear! The Acid Deletion Buff lets your acid destroy a survivor corpse exposed to your acid for a long period of time, he/she won't be able to be revived for the rest of the round. A useful buff to have for when you want to prevent the enemy team from gaining a higher score than your team in the current round. It is a less useful buff overall for when your focusing on less important support buffs.

    Improved Healing

    Description:
You heal 10% more for each minute that pass

    Positives
+ Your healing buffs and abilities that heal are improved by a small amount for each long period of time that passes.
+ A useful buff to have as it makes the Spitter in the healer role more of a annoyance for survivors to deal with.

    Negatives
    - Nothing.

    Explanation:
The Improved Healing Buff lets your healing buffs and any abilities associated with the Spitter's healer role be improved a small amount for each long period of time passed. It is a useful buff to have for when you want to help the tank out by giving him fast regeneration with your spit and making it more of an annoyance for survivors to deal with.

    Healing Madness

    Description:
If a survivor dies inside your acid you will heal for 1000HP per second and will be immune to damage for 20 seconds.

    Positives
+ If a survivor inside your acid dies, you heal for an immense amount of health regeneration per second and become immune to damage for a large amount of time.
+ A useful buff for when you want to prevent the survivors from making progress in small areas, want to distract them.

    Negatives
    - A less useful buff for when your using less useful support buffs.

    Explanation:
The Healing Madness Buff lets any survivor that dies inside your acid give you an immense amount of regeneration per second and become immune to damage for a large amount of time. It is a useful buff for when you want to prevent the survivors from making progress in small areas or if you want to distract them. It is a less useful buff overall due to it not being supportive until the buff effect activates.
