    This is just a general guideline for the recommended buffs on any particular offensive buff set that suits your playstyle. Remember, the buff sets have their strengths and weaknesses and may / may not be suited to whatever buffs you want on any offensive buff set you come up with. These buff sets do not contain any other buffs other than the unique and quest buffs only.

    The Offensive Buff Sets are generally situated towards DPS against Special Infected/Tanks.

    The buff sets you will see here are:

    • Offensive Assault COOP (Offensive DPS against tanks Buff Set)
    • Fight with Fire COOP (Offensive killing special infected quicker Buff Set)

    This Buff Set is situated towards DPS against Tanks.

    Offensive Assault COOP <top>
    • (SURV) Knife

    • Any Melee Secondary Weapon (Whichever your good with)

    Benefits of this buff set <top>
    • Knife: Gives you 1 knife that can be used to release yourself from an SI attack once. Your knife can be used after 1 second of being pinned, by pressing ZOOM button.
    • Goggles: Obtain goggles that protect you from bile. Buff includes "Cheap Goggles" buff effect.
    • Witch Hunter: +15% additional damage for each witch kill during the round, up to 3 times. Additional damage lasts until the end of the round.
      <No one can take damage from the witch for the bonus to apply>
    • Piercing Bullets: On shooting same infected, +1% increased damage per bullet. Effect resets when changing target, changing weapon, or reloading. Bonus is tripled when using AWP / Scout sniper rifle or Magnum pistol.
    • Butcher: On melee hit, Infected take +1% of current HP as bonus damage.
      <Only works with target's that take melee damage>
    • Tank Slayer: You deal +350HP bonus damage to tanks every 3 seconds with ranged guns.
      <Coop Only>
    • General Tank Handler: -0.12% reduced damage taken from tanks x current level.
      <Max buff defense percent: 90%>
    • Tenacity: +2000 + 200 per level above 201 increased maximum HP. You instantly die when your HP reaches 0.
      <Health from medikits used is halved for each medikit used, down to 25% (100% -> 50% -> 25%)>
      <Players with Tenacity equipped have increased aggro from Tanks by 50%>
      <Coop Only>
    • Avenger: On infected killing survivor, +300% increased damage dealt to the killer and cannot be killed by it for 10 seconds. Increased damage dealt scales down overtime. Effect time resets if killer kills again.
      <You can have more than one revenge target>
      <Coop Only>
    • Tactical Reload: If manually reloading with 1+ bullets left. +15% increased reload speed.
      <Doesn't affect Pistols, Shotguns or the Grenade Launcher>
    • Health Dispenser: Allows you to place a special device on the floor using medikit. Nearby survivors receive +15 + 0.5% Max HP per second, cured of all bad status effects and given moustachio bless for 5 seconds.
      <Hold medikit and shove floor while crouching to activate>
      <Duration: 14 seconds>
      <Versus: 8HP per second, 1 second of moustachio bless, does not clear bad statuses>
    • Dummy Rounds: Gives ranged weapons 20% chance not to consume ammunition. Cannot work with Grenade Launchers.
      <Incompatible with Deadeye Buff>
    • Adrenaline Run: While at least 1 tank is alive, infinite adrenaline effect.
      <Buff has no effect in Survival gamemode>
    • Finale Dominator: On finale/survival maps, On each special infected kill, +1 stack of finale dominator (+2 stacks on each uber special infected kill), up to 15. +3% increased damage, +1% increased defense, +0.5% increased movement speed, +0.5% increased fire rate, +2% increased reload speed and +2% chance to save ammo. You lose a stack in (25-stacks) seconds or if pinned by special infected or if incapacitated. You lose all stacks on death.

    Tips for effectively using this buff set
    • When you plan on killing witches, make sure you heal to give yourself the effects of Moustachio Bless so that the startled witch aggroing you does not give you any damage. Also do it away from other survivors so that it doesn't affect you getting the Witch Hunter buff effect when the witch does die.
    • If you know someone that is about to die from a powerful tank ability that you don't want to have happening to them, use the Health Dispenser by placing it down near their location. That way you will not only save them but avoid getting yourself in the way of the tank if it happens to be nearby as well.
    • When you have the Finale Dominator buff effect active on finale/survival maps. Make sure to kill Special Infected often so that the higher amount of stacks you have will result in increased survivability rates for you and for the survivor team itself.

    This Buff Set is situated towards being able to kill Special Infected easier.

    Benefits of this buff set <top>
    • Knife: Gives you 1 knife that can be used to release yourself from an SI attack once. Your knife can be used after 1 second of being pinned, by pressing ZOOM button.
    • Goggles: Obtain goggles that protect you from bile. Buff includes "Cheap Goggles" buff effect.
    • On Fire: 1% chance of setting any infected on fire on each gun shot.
    • Witch Hunter: +15% additional damage for each witch kill during the round, up to 3 times. Additional damage lasts until the end of the round.
      <No one can take damage from the witch for the bonus to apply>
    • Piercing Bullets: On shooting same infected, +1% increased damage per bullet. Effect resets when changing target, changing weapon, or reloading. Bonus is tripled when using AWP / Scout sniper rifle or Magnum pistol.

    • Intense Fire: Infected ignited by you take +1% of current HP as bonus damage per fire tick.
      <No effect on tanks>
    • Deadeye: On killing special infected from 75% of max HP or higher or with a headshot using AWP / Scout sniper rifles, +1 bullet into current magazine from your reserves.
    • Group Morale: -1% reduced damage taken for every other survivor alive.
    • Tenacity: +2000 + 200 per level above 201 increased maximum HP. You instantly die when your HP reaches 0.

You lose a stack in (25-stacks) seconds or if pinned by special infected or if incapacitated. You lose all stacks on death.

    Tips for effectively using this buff set well
    • The best way to kill Special Infected quickly is with the use of fire. Use a faster fire rate weapon to get more chances in less time for the On Fire Buff effect to work.
    • When you have the Finale Dominator buff effect active on finale/survival maps. Make sure to kill Special Infected often so that the higher amount of stacks you have will result in increased survivability rates for you and for the survivor team itself.
