    29. |E| Free Spirit

    Description:
    After being trapped by a Special Infected for 10 seconds, your character will attempt to free themselves every 3 seconds. The chance of being released is 45% which decays by 15% upon each failed attempt. The chance resets when you are freed.

    Positives
    + After being trapped by a Special Infected for 10 seconds, your character will attempt to free themselves every 3 seconds.
    + The chance of being released will reset when you are freed.
    + A good buff to have for when you aren't using the Knife Buff or out of knifes when using it.

    Negatives
    - The chance of being released decays by 15% upon each failed attempt.

    Explanation
    No knifes? How do I free myself from my trapping Special Infected? Ahhh! The Free Spirit Buff makes it so that after 10 seconds of being trapped by any Special Infected, your character will attempt to free themselves every 3 seconds. The chance of being released will reset when you become freed. It is considered to be a good buff for when you aren't using the Knife Buff or when you are out of knives while using the buff. The chance of being released starts at 45% and decays by 15% upon each failed attempt. Just make sure you can get free before anything bad happens!

    Benefit in Buff Sets
    After being trapped by a Special Infected for 10 seconds, attempt to break free every 3 seconds. Chance starts at 45%, decays by 15% upon each failed attempt. The chance resets when you are freed. <Coop Only>

    30. |E| Bodyguard <top>

    Description
    You can assign a fellow survivor to be protected by you. If the survivor takes lethal damage and you are within 700 units, you will die instead and the survivor will regain full health and lose tank aggro. A survivor can only have 1 bodyguard but a bodyguard cannot have one. While dead from this effect, you will gain 1 bounty every time your target earns bounty. Once set, you cannot change your target until they are no longer a valid target.

    Positives

    + If the survivor takes lethal damage and you are within 700 units, you will die instead and the survivor will regain full health and lose tank aggro.
    + While dead from this buff effect, you will gain 1 bounty every time your target earns bounty.

    - A survivor can only have one bodyguard.
    - A bodyguard cannot have another bodyguard.
    - Once you have set your bodyguard, you cannot change your target until they are no longer a valid target.

    Explanation
    Would you like to do more than just covering and protecting the survivors against damage? now you can protect them further with the Bodyguard Buff! You can assign a fellow survivor to be protected by you. If that survivor takes lethal damage when you are within 700 units, you will die instead and the survivor will regain full health and lose tank aggro. While dead from this buff effect, you will gain 1 bounty every time your target earns bounty. This is good because you can then use the Testament Buff to send 10% of the total amount of bounty you have earned to them. Remember that you can only have 1 bodyguard and that bodyguard cannot have another bodyguard. Also once you have set your bodyguard, you cannot change your target until they are no longer a valid target.

    Benefit in Buff Sets
    You can assign a fellow survivor to be protected by you. If the survivor takes lethal damage while you are within 700 units, you will die instead and bodyguard survivor gains full health back and loses tank aggro. A survivor can only have 1 bodyguard and a bodyguard cannot have one. While dead from this buff effect, +1 bounty gained every time your bodyguard earns bounty. Once set, you cannot change target unless your target is no longer valid. <Coop Only>

    31. |E| Dying Berserk <top>

    Description:
    Upon taking lethal damage (excluding fall damage) you will be spared from death for 5 seconds. During those 5 seconds, you will not consume ammo, your shots will ignore enemy defenses and immunities, and you will be immune to status or CC effects.
    <Piercing immunities sets all attack bonuses for that shot to zero>

    <Coop Only>

    Positives
    + Upon taking lethal damage (excluding fall damage) you will be spared from death for 5 seconds.
    + During those 5 seconds, you will not consume ammo, your shots will ignore enemy defenses and immunites and you will be immune to status or CC effects.

    + Unlike Guardian Moustachio Buff, the buff effect of this buff can be used every time you are near death.

    Negatives
    - Piercing immunities sets all attack bonuses for that shot to zero.

    Explanation
    You are about to deliver the killing blow to the tank, with 1 hit left before you die. The tank swings at you, causing you to take lethal damage! Nooo!... are you dead yet? Not with the Dying Berserk Buff! Now you can get back to killing the tank with being spared from death for 5 seconds upon taking lethal damage. During the duration, you will not consume ammo, your shots will ignore enemy defenses and immunities and you will be immune to status or CC effects. Unlike with the Guardian Moustachio Buff where you can only be given Moustachio Bless once per round, you can be given the buff effect of this Buff infinitely for every time you are near death. Remember that piercing immunities sets all attack bonuses for that shot to zero.
