When I don't use a mic is when I play under a different name, because no matter if I change my name know my voice and rat me out lol. *Points at the person that always rats me out.* you knowho you are lolz.

 

Not too off-topic, but a lot have asked me about this same thing. I had one for Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking (voice-to-text, text-to-voice) software; however, probably from storing and not using, it's garbled/warped (for a headset.)

I have an on-board mic; it's an open mic and, if I did use it by push-key (options / mouse~keyboard settings,) it would be hackneyed and shrill sounding.

I ordered a cool one off Amazon, but it hasn't arrived and it's been a week.

Believe me, I don't always like typing everything! XD

I have a mic but I am normally listening to the Howard Stern show or music

 

I had a headset before then it somehow broke and i've only just replaced it C:

 

I personally can't stand headsets and go for lapel or desktop mics since my headphones are better than any headset will be and they look and feel ridiculous on your head.

 

I always have a hood on so i don't really mind. My headsets really small and non noticeable i guess too ;3
