Hello Guys, I am thinking on upgrading my Home PC. I already have an Core i3 with 6 Gb ram. So far, so good. What i am thinking chaging its my Graphics Card, my mouse and maybe (if the graphics card requires it) a new case and a mainboard. I live in South America, so finding a fresh hardware here its like try to find porn in the UK (legally). So i have to bring them from US. I am thinking on getting these things. The prices are with shipping and customs included. UPDATE SO FAR Graphics Card (NOT GOING, THANKS FOR THE THOUGHS) EVGA GeForce GTX760 (US$ 344.99) Mouse (STILL THINKING) Logitech G500s (US$ 69.70) Corsair Vengeance M95 Performance (US$ 89.50) Razer DeathAdder 2013 Essential Ergonomic Gaming Mouse (US$ 75.11) SteelSeries Sensei Laser Gaming Mouse Raw Edition (US$ 59.66) SSD DRIVE (ALMOST SET) Samsung MZ-7PD128BW 840 Pro Series SATAIII MLC SSD 128GB (US$ 148.90) with Icy Dock EZConvert 2.5-Inch to 3.5-Inch SATA SSD (US$ 35.05) Waiting for your thoughts
Lol, believe it or not, its the found brand here along with Genius... You have any alternative to see if I can find it?
i2?!?! What is this wizardry you speak off?! Your gtx 660 i wouldnt say neesd upgrading im still using a GTX 460 and still works like a charm
LOL, typo... I meant i3, edited We are so third world that Intel gives us just Core i2 (joke) Thanks for the suggestions, actually saves me some money
That is a solid build. Upgrading to the SSD will do wonders for loading times and overall system performance. The 660 is good, 6gb of ram is good, the i3 will now most likely be the bottleneck of the system which is a good problem to have! Remember to config the SSD correctly for maximum awesomeness. http://www.overclock.net/t/1133897/windows-7-ssd-tweaking-guide
Well you might have goodluck with their products but I have never got anything from them that lasted. My http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104857 lasted 6 months I lost the receipt and bestbuy and Logitech would do nothing for me to get it replaced. I have the box and everything and bag.... I bought this to replace it and its just now giving me problems with the left click and I've owned it almost 2 years [h=1]Dynex
I think your graphics card is still good, no need to upgrade. I have a 480 gtx and it still performs well at all games.
yea and if u safe some cash in future you can buy only new sli motherboard from asus and one more 660 and run it in sli.I see already now on ebay that gpu going for 150$.
Dynex its a nice option.. but somehow, none of the pages won't ship it to my country. btw I like FPS,RTS and MMO. So far this is my option list: Logitech G500s (US$ 69.70) Corsair Vengeance M95 Performance (US$ 89.50) Razer DeathAdder 2013 Essential Ergonomic Gaming Mouse (US$ 75.11) SteelSeries Sensei Laser Gaming Mouse Raw Edition (US$ 59.66)
All my stuff is Logitech. I have the G35 headset, G105 keyboard and the G500s mouse. Have not had any issues with any of them after 8 months. The Logitech G500s works great. It comes with those weights and has plenty of buttons for things like knife or voice chat, plus the buttons for adjusting the DPI while in-game. I don't see that part about your current graphics card, but if it's the GTX660 then it's fine. I have one and that's what I upgraded to last year and I don't see any new games worth upgrading to anything newer yet in terms of graphics. I would see what comes out mid-year and save your money for the Geforce 800 series.
Logitech has always been great for me too, never any problems from them. Sent from my Lumia 900 using Tapatalk
Ill give Logitech a try , hope I don't be wrong about it. This is what I got. I should arrive in three weeks more or less.
