unlimited gems bug. Important!

Technically I don't think spamming gems was going to shut down the servers. 1. People who had this bug already paid for the gems they had. 2. You can craft gems in-game and receive them from tanks.

 

I mean yeah you paid for like 1 gem which is $0.50 and you used like 30 or more. So like $15. 15<0.50.

 

Yeah but you can get them in-game so obviously they aren't banking their servers on gem sales.

Lol I'm not offended I just thought it was funny to insinuate that the servers would die over an item you can get ingame anyway

 

I'm not worried about me. Just think its kind of a lame deal for someone to get unlimited gems from a bug, max out a bunch of their stuff, and then get to keep it while the other 99.999% of the server has to work for their gems. No skin off my back, but for the other players out there, its kind of lame.

I can see in mysql howmany people have gems in their !inv

But its only 30 people or so

 

I say remove those gems from the people who have it in their !inv. I bet some of them not even aware of it, or maybe don't even use the forums, so we might have some innocent people here.

 

ok now someone explain to me what this unlimited gem glitch is, because i got all my gems from helms deep. If you want to accuse someone of having unlimited gems, then u should bring forth some evidence of the sort, instead of slandering my name on the forums.

 

i've got 491839 gems

but this problem with unlimited gem bug has been fixed by Joerve for now.
All gems what are bought in store are now added straight into your !cp console. so no need for !inv to transfer it 1 by 1 to your !cp panel.

As for my gems, i got them from my richkid package

 

If you are a root can't you spawn gems in your cp?

No, only marvel and me are store owners. But HC has access to the database because he is the coder.

And yeah collector, you are one of the few lucky guys who bought the rich kid package (my stupid invention )
