Suggested Buff Changes (Continuous)

  1. Welcome to the Suggested Buff Changes Forum Thread, every time a suggestion about any current buff is needed, I or someone else will post it here.

    Hunting Reward

    Description:
    Increases bounty earn rate by 1% for each special infected killed.
    <Max: 30%>
    Either A
    Increases bounty earn rate by 1.5-2% for each special infected killed.*
    <Max: 30%>
    or B
    All items that cost 5 bounty or more now cost 1 less bounty to buy. Effect only applies if you don't have negative reputation**
    <Coop Only>
    <Can stack with the positive reputation effect>

    Current bounty earn rate means....
    For Butcher Tank Killed = 15 bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for this action after 7 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +2 additional bounty for this action after 14 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +3 additional bounty for this action after 20 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +4 additional bounty for this action after 27 Special Infected kills are earned.
    For Glutton Tank Killed = 10 Bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for this action after 10 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +2 additional bounty for this action after 20 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +3 additional bounty for this action after 30 Special Infected kills are earned.
    For TANK SOLO = 8 bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for this action after 13 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +2 additional bounty for this action after 25 Special Infected kills are earned.
    For Freezing Tank and All Tier 3 Tanks Killed = 7 bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for this action after 15 Special Infected kills are earned.
    You will get +2 additional bounty for this action after 29 Special Infected kills are earned.
    For Defibbed Survivor and Most Tier 2 Tanks Killed = 5 bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for this action after 20 Special Infected kills are earned.
    For Headshot Spree and Witch Killed = 4 bounty.
    You will get +1 additional bounty for these actions after 25 Special Infected kills are earned.

    Anything else that earns you 3 bounty or less doesn't earn you additional bounty, even after reaching the maximum percentage.

    Another suggestion is that the Hunting Reward needs a counter to give you a notification when every (x) special infected kills are earned with (x) being any number between 1-10.

    For A, the reason for this change * is because you would want to earn the additional bounty from higher bounty rewards after a fewer amount of Special Infected Kills.
    For B, the reason for this change ** is because you would want to be recognised as a well respected and dedicated hunter by having things cost less for you to buy. Having negative reputation means that not everyone will respect you when you talk to them and the item costs are still going to be the same.

    |E| Healing pipe bombs

    Description:
    Your pipe bombs heal nearby survivors by 15% of their maximum health upon detonation. (Correct Buff Description as i remember, haven't edited it yet in my guide though)
    <Incompatible with Seeking Grenade Buff>
    <Recommended with Frag Grenade Buff>

    *The obvious reason for * is because the Healing pipe bombs buff is rendered useless in two ways. When your pipe bomb is allowed to seek for special infected, it loses its purpose of acting as a healing buff (assuming it won't heal the infected upon detonation) since it will no longer explode near survivors depending on where the special infected the pipe bomb seeking to is at the time. A good reason to recommend this buff with the Frag Grenade Buff is because it allows you to heal quicker when the pipe bombs detonate instantly on collision instead of waiting for the pipe bombs to detonate after a few seconds, after all there may/may not be infected in the survivors way and the survivors may/may not reach the impact zone on time depending on where the survivor threw the pipe bombs.

    |E| Beserk Buff

    Description:
    You deal 50% more damage and ignore enemy defenses for 30 seconds.
    <Available in !buy>
    <Cooldown: 5 minutes>
    <Coop Only>
    <Effect disappears if you die while it's activated>*

    *The obvious reason for this is because you shouldn't be hearing the song while your dead and having the effect still active after your death.
