Servers down for a while

Hi all,

As you may have noticed all our servers are getting hit hard with a constant stream of DDoS traffic. We will keep our servers down for a while until this is sorted because we don't want you to have a bad gaming experience on our servers: Better no experience than a terrible one.

The other problems is that the traffic is hitting other customers from our host provider as well. Tomorrow morning they will put us on a different switch so that this traffic only hits us and not any other persons/businesses anymore so we're down until at least tomorrow morning 10 am CET.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience I'll update on the situation asap.

 

Hi all,

Our L4D servers have now been isolated from any other server. This doesn't mean it won't be attacked anymore because it probably will but if it does it should not have any effect on other customers or other servers, only on the L4D servers.

This means I'll be bringing them back online soon (tonight).

We are also working with a host provider that might be able to help us with our issue more permanent. More info on that later.
