No Points Logging

I know we have been having problems but just to let you know that the points and time have not been logging lately on VI USA for the last 2 days.:bloodyskull:

 

Yes you fixed it and now it is down again. I know you are doing everything you can but I am getting frustrated. I put in good time and it always seems to happen when I have an especially good run. I can't tell you how much it sucks. It always works for a while but only lasts for a couple few hours. Darn it anyway.

 

What's so special about the points anyways? Idk why people are so into it.

 

The problem has not gone away. Just now I played a couple rounds where I was the points leader several times in a row racking up perhaps 20,000 points and was only given credit for 133. Must admit I am getting a bit discouraged but that wont stop me from playing on the worlds finest servers. I normally score or get credit for 250-400 points per hour but lately that is not the case. My game has been better but points very much lacking, about 10-15% what they should be.

 

I've had this too a few times, but I keep playing like nothing happened.

 

Yes Marvel keep doing what you do because it is still crazy. The points reset at 5pm Texas time and I played from 4:30pm to 5:55pm and it only had me logged for 30min so far for the day and it should be 55min. It gave me credit for 133points in 30 min which is about average for me but I only had 5 kills and 6 deaths, compared to yesterday where I got 346 points and 297 kills and 45 deaths, it just is not proportional. I really hope we can get this bug fixed. Keep plugging away. I wonder if those scumbags at the AM P thing have anything to do with it. I see they have a boner for you.

 

Rats! It has been down hard since last night, no points, no time, no nothing. Darn it anyway.

 

My God man, I just lost nearly 30k points, 69 pounce and 50 karma slap achievements!

Think I was happier gaining the measly 100 points a day

 

Yea the stats database was restored to a backup taken a month ago in an attempt to try and fix the problem....and its worked so far. We've all lost stuff....ive personally lost a few achievements and nearly 100k points lol, just be glad we didnt need to do a complete reset and wipe EVERYTHING

 

Whats going on with the points? I moved from position 27/26 to 14 over night without even playing lol :weird:

 

Just like Vishus Puss I also lost 30,000 points and dropped 2 rank positions from 9 to 11. I am not bummed at all because the problem is fixed for now. If the day comes where we need to wipe the slate clean I won't piss and moan. Keep up the good work.

i know you have been very busy fixing the eu server bringing it back online and other things, so i dont expect this to be fixed right away, but i just played almost 3hrs and only got 513 skill change for my rank, so i think stats are back to only a few hunderd points each time you play, which sucks but , the main thing is the eu servers are back w00t , also i will add my thanks for you working to get the server back online , thanks marvel =)

 

It is possible that I have just lost my mojo but for the last week or so I can't score any points to save my ass. I went from a 250 points per hour average which is already piss poor to about 100 pph. I played a full campaign and was most often a total damage points leader with 2000-4000 points per round but it does not reflect in my stats points. I only get maybe 1%. I just get the feeling something is wrong and would appreciate if someone could check it out.

 

I know you just cleared out a bunch of space in the db. Maybe I just lost my mojo but I just played 1hr 6min on USA VI and got 73 points I am at an all time low and feeling a little depressed at the moment. What I dont understand is that I was a points leader most of the time yet I still stink. Gonna play a few rounds of Starcraft II to try and clear my mind

 

You're right Vulcan, I got maybe 200 points per hour on Mixed Mode and together with playing PR Coop I got a total of 3500 points in 5.45 hour...That should be about 1000 average per hour.

 

Hmmm... This is clearly something to do with L4D2 only. On L4D1 points are raked in like wild fire. There must be some vital points being missed.

Maybe the logging is disabled on some servers? Maybe some points calculations are being missed? I remember the spitter points being reduced... maybe that has had an effect?
