you might wanna get your fact straight jorisk...I disconnected because I was on the phone with my wife. I had no ideea you were there. I don't play MG server during daytime because of the amount of ppl that are on the servers. I prefer night time for that...and I never shot someone from MG regardless of the server i was playing on, so your claim that I dc'ed and then came back and killed ya...well you should lay off alcohol, it impairs your vision as well as your judgement...If I wanted to shoot you i would have done it several times 2 nights ago when you were in cerno, by the enter-able church when you were running away with 2 zombies on your ass...i even bothered writing to you in the direct chat where I was and that i had an extra weapon for you.... I was on the docks looking at you through the sights of an AKM....funny to talk about DC'ing, one minute you are running from zombies and next thing I see,less than 15 seconds afterwards jorisk is not even in the lobby...

P.S: Unless you are jesus,or budha Or Brahma, I can't see how you can be both in game and in the player lobby at the same time...Please enlighten me to such a move....It must be wonderful having your Char's body still in the game, moving and shooting, while the spirit is in the lobby checking up on allegedly me. If i am not mistaking, the server logs would show who killed who....so, if you can find in the logs that Ar'kain killed Jorisk, please show me...i am curios of how I was able to kill such a miracle worker like yourself.... and I mean the actual ones, not the ones you begged/or will begg the admins to modify so you don't look like a fool.And yes, marvel, I do believe Jorisk capable of asking such a thing...

P.S II: since you wanna go into fairy tale and unicorn land, the story from above can be said in a diff manner:

You were running past the church in cerno, 2 nights ago, with a zombie in tail, saw me and decided to DC because you were sure i would kill you. I then took a hit from the magic bong, knocked the heels of my red magic Klompen 3 times and my spirit teleported back to Kansas,err..i mean into the lobby and didn't see you there either....how does my story sound now? pretty close to yours get my point jorisk? As we say in US, logs that i dc'd and came back and killed ya where you claim i did or you owe me an apology.I would like my apology in the form of a DMR+ammo...but, *insert sarcasm here* we both know you'll never admit to anything especially when you know you effed up and opened your mouth w/o thinking..so pretty much this is a waste of time.... Jorisk, You can talk the talk, but you can't walk the walk.

well, it still is a waste of money...but the "delight" of seeing some, actually most of you having some of the issues I had, or worse (see marvel's post about dancing and stuff) makes it worth it... )

 

i dont think this was a cheat. because you can look behind you while character looks forward

 

Somehow I cannot join the mgftw server. I get the error message "Bad version, server rejected connection". After updating my game to the newest version (via http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and Six Updater) the problem still persist. I am using v1.7.1.5 but the server has v1.60.94445. Did anyone have the same problem and knows how to solve it? Thanks in advance!

 

sounds like the game need some major updating/changes to make it enjoyable to play ... and looked it's still in Alpha (thought it was in beta already) so i'll wait a bit longer lol

The server is version 1.60.94444 (you need to install the beta 94444).

The mod is version 1.7.1.5

Check you are loading the mod correctly via your shortcut commandline. This is how mine is (adjust it with Program Files (x86) if you have 64bit)

Funny thing happened to me a few minutes ago....very interesting, and this is story is for Jorisk and "Zomg" player from Dayz, which we all know who it is....


Anyway....a few posts ago jorisk was bitching and moaning that I dc'ed and killed and blah, blah, and still didn't provide any proof of it...Bad Jorisk....So, tonight i get lucky...On another server i kill some dude that had an AS 50. Peeerfeeect I say, so I go to MG server, plant my ass on one of the best sniper spots in Cerno and bam...bam, bam...7 murders. After all that killing i was getting on MG, this was payback.

Now..enter Zomg. He dies like a hero the first time, cause he was bird-watching in the park. yes jorisk, I said i don't shoot MG but hell...Jeorve..i mean Zomg deserved it. Long story short, he spawns close to cerno and gets a weapon, from the looks of it it's an AKM or AK-74 and...believe it or not comes straight for the place i was camping, up high. I mean WTF, do i have a radar attached to my gun or what?

Here is where the story gets interesting....i toss a grenade at him, explodes about 30 feet from him with little damage, but aggroes the zombies....so he runs with at least 15 zombies in tow all while i am shooting at him from time to time..IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN GOOD OLD "ZOMG" DISCONNECTS DURING A FIRE FIGHT!!!! (How come i don't hear you now Jorisk requesting the banhammer?)

3o seconds later, Zomg is back, shooting at me from the spawn point, after DC. How delightful it was that his shots went through the glass floor hits me while the same glass floor is impenetrable to 12x99. I get knocked out and i rapidly DC (can't let Zomg have all the fun now, can't I?). I get back on the server 1 min later..guess what? Create new char, i have been killed. I go to recover my body, well no body at all...strange, isn't it?

Joerve, you killed me, good for you...but since you are now part of the DC'ing gang...maybe Jorisk will think twice about requesting the banhammer for DC

 

Cool story bro, but we don't need them every 5 seconds. Just play the game and not worry about anyone else but yourself. It's not the bitch n moan thread.

In Cherno i noticed someone shooting at me at the exact same location i died 10 minutes before so i knew there was a camper but i was lucky enough he was either drunk or too noob to kill me. He even missed me with grenades lol

I got out of his fireline and noticed it was Ar'kain, the guy that disconnected in front of me last time so i decided to give him a piece of his own medicine lol

Check the serverlogs, i never dc to avoid death, that's why i got killed 40+ times yesterday.

I disconnected in front of you because some aliens landed on my roof and my microwave started to fly in my livingroom 8)

 

Gee, is it so bad to kill other mg member? I mean if someone decided to be a murdere it's his choice and he has to deadl with the hatred of others. It a part of the game and one way to play this game...

Btw. why was I moved from the Dayz Teamspeak Channel from Jorisk? I wanted to play dayz on the mgftw server and talk a with you guys.

 

Jojo, you still haven't proven it was me who allegedly DC'ed and killed you when you claim, but I guess it's casual for your mouth to write checks that your ass can't cash....it's fine dude, didn't expect anything more from you

P.S: when i started playing last night there was a guy with the name of "Alkanet" that i have seen everyday almost at the same time as me....So, are you sure you didn't confuse us? Like i said, alcohol does have impairing effects...

I think you misunderstood me. I have chosen the dayz channel, where only collector and joris where online and after less then a minute joris moved me to the lobby without a warning or explaining it.

 

It's called zomg-hack 4.0. It does not only reveal your position on the map but it also tells me where you live, what your phone number is, what president you voted last time and how often you visit youporn.com 8)

 

i just orderd a 2nd server. as the server is hard enough to run 2 of them at the same time

hope you dont mind Marvel? maybe we can even find a clan for this. to rent it from us.
