Helms Deep is getting BORING.

I don't know about you but I'm starting to get bored of playing the same survival map over and over (Helms Deep). I would love for the survival servers to not only hold Helms Deep but to hold other survival maps as well. There's already a bunch of survival maps built in the game that we should play. We should also take advantage of the workshop and what it has to offer as well...

 

Well, we talked long time ago about this, tried different survival maps, but server were mostly empty...
Maybe we do it another time...well see.

 

My only complaint about HD is the Drainer tanks! A drainer will incap a bot, the remaining bots then to run to the incapped. Cue 6 incapped bots.

 

so, we go running & pick them up!! what do you do?

Survival maps aren't supposed to finish, that's the point of the timer. Helms Deep makes you last "this" long, or else you won't finish it. It has a goal, but you can't go past that time. I could make my survival maps finish too (I had the idea once to do this, but thought against it). I prefer them to last as long as possible with the objective being to best someone else's time.

never understood to why crazyrabbits maps never were used on mg. The guy spent countless of hours making those maps, I see no harm allowing all mg players to enjoy them. And he's willing to adjust them based on whatever feedback we give him, what else needed here?

If we still having issues finding good survival maps we can browse through l4dmaps.com, we have many options there. If mg needs to test some of the maps, we have many loyal mg members who are willing to do that. I'm going to list some maps but i'm sure someone else might find better one.

Helms Deep was first the first couple tmes but I'll still play Helms Deep however I'll play it for the EXP and cash though it doesn't mean it's that fun anymore (for me).

 

Helms deep was really fun for me in both ways, fun and making good exp and it was good rewards so thx MG, new tanks ,bombers lol...
I really liked and i think many others to 'cos server was full all the time.
Suggestion maybe in future make some survival versus Helms Deep with timer 16VS16

Last 2 nights discovered small bug on Helms Deep, i couldn upload image before 'cos i was not home, It's on that spot on picture, if you befool tank start chasing you, crossinig the fire will kill him instantly after been slashed 5-6 times, except Metal Tanks.
