Custom Achievements

    I noticed how HonorCode used custom achievements in an event, which I thought was awesome. Would it be possible to do the same thing again but with a little modification so it could be implemented in MG servers?

    FOR EXAMPLE:
    John Smith achieved MG Double Spit-47 Kill
    Achievement Info: Kill 2 Spitters one after the other with an AK-47.
    OR
    John Smith achieved MG Secret Phrase
    Achievement Info: Say the secret word to unlock this achievement! (make it something like "I like mg")
    OR even
    John Smith achieved MG 5-ALIVE?
    Achievement Info: Kill 5 survivors within one map of L4D1!

    I know its asking for the impossible - but is there a way? It'd make it much more fun to play on MG.

    It's possible yes but the achievements will never be official, which means when you re-join the game you can earn them again.

    Could they be kept under HLX stats?
    Me and legend were talking about this last night and we figured that would be the best place.

    Yes it is possible, but to be honest my knownledge about PHP scripts is really low, so i'd have to learn the basics. And also, we'd need somebody to make the achievements icons :P

    This seems to be a good idea here is a list of achievements i would like to see:

    INFECTED achievements
    "Achievement for pouncing" (showing no. of survivor kills eg 2,3,4.. with a single hunter life)
    "Achievement for charge"(showing no. of survivor kills eg 2,3,4..with a single charger life)
    "Achievement for pull"(showing no. of survivors kills eg 2,3,4 with a single smoker life)

    SURVIVOR achievements
    "Achievement for most common infected kills in a map"(like 100/200/300 kills)

    100% on this project and, it can be done. Just need achievements ideas :P. Currently i have:

    Man, YOU just made my DAY! :mrgreen:

    I love the "Authority Owner" and "Good Boy" achievements!
    Other L4D2 achievements: :P
    called "High Pounce" where you "Pounce a survivor from more than 200 feet of height".
    called "Boomer 10" where you "Successfully vomit on 10 survivors in one map".
    called "Sniper Wielder" where you "Carry and use Hunting Rifle through a whole campaign".
    called "Akimbo Assassin 2" where you "Carry and use pistols throughout the campaign" (not sure this would work)
    called "Simpleton" where you "Don't use any weapons throughout the whole map". :lol:
    Other L4D1 achievements:
    called "The Real Slapper" where you "Bitch-Slap more than 2000 times throughout your whole gaming career"
    called "It's Not Your Time To Die!" where you "Revive a player when they have less than 10HP when incapped".
    called "Bragging Rights" where you "Incap all players as a tank".

    Anyway, can't think of anymore atm, but I'm sure some others will! You can change or not put any of the achievements listed in this post because other people haven't inputted their views...

    Im too hot for you! - kill a survivor as a burning special infected

    Drive Thru! - incap 3 survivors with a single car charge.

    Grand Theft Survivor - Incap 3 survivors as a jockey in a single life time.

    Just my few cents as suggestions to possible achievments plus i like my jokcey achievment name better :D

    Yeah they are still on the deathmatch mod around, but im not sure if they are useful as they were Survivors Vs Survivos based.

    hey all

    some could ideas so far, i have got few here.

    High flyer
    karma charge someone of the roof of no mercy

    Sinking feeling
    charge someone into the water

    cant think of a name for this one
    bitch slap someone so they fall of / hang on a ledge

    Base jumper
    jockey someone of the top of no mercy roof

    KABOOOM
    use the car to incap x survivor's with car explosion

    Ninja
    use the hunter claw's to incap x survivor's in a round

    New Achievements would be so sweet, Here are some suggestions, there for l4d1
    but some could be used on both i guess.

    Phew!-Reviving all players and killing tank by self

    I Rock! - Killing all 3 tanks by self with no help

    Public Defender - Defends downed Servs. against
    1000 Common Infected.

    Hunters Hunter! - Killing 2 pouncing hunter with in 2 seconds

    Gas Attack! - In-capping 5 or more Servs. with smoker suicide

    Surprise! - Incaps a helping Serv. while he trys to heal you in a smoker cloud

    Nothing Personal - Pounce a serv. while he is healing

    Hot Shot - Be this weeks Top Player on any MG Servers

    Collector - Get all MG Achievements

    Ranking! - Achieve 10th position on the MG High score table

    Formation - No one on your team Rushes on current campaign

    Sharing Caring Companions - Your team heals 15 other servs.
    (bots inc)

    Burn baby Burn - Set 25 Witchs on fire

    Hot Date - Set light to and shoot dead a witch before she can incaps you

    Fly Pan-MG - As Tank, knock 5 Servs. of No Mercy Roof

    Board Walk - As smoker, pull 10 servs. of <forget map name>
    the plank walks between buildings

    If they are of any use, change as you wish

    -Drive Thru :D
    -It's not your time to die

    Some of mines:

    Get up and fight! - kill a witch after she incap u

    I got a question about display of earned Achiw. - how it will be displayed?

    I might be late to the party on this one but I was thinking of some funny ones. Such as:

    Pwner - be on the same team for an entire campaign and crush your opponents by 3,000 points.
    Pwnee - be on the same team for an entire campaign and get crushed by your opponents by 3,000 points.
    ViagraTank - last as a tank for 10(?) min
    Paul Bunyan - kill 290 infected in a single round with an axe
    Ninja Warrior - kill 290 infected in a single round with the katana
    Aunt Jemima - kill 290 infected in a single round with the frying pan
    Louisville Slugger - kill 290 infected in a single round with the baseball hat
    Man vs. Zombies - kill 290 infected in a single round with the machette
    "Whap!" - kill 290 infected in a single round with the cricket bat
    Loafer - as survivor, always be the last survivor from safe room to safe room.
    Kaos - (named after a regular player) be the only survivor who didn't make it to the safe room
    Bonekeep - (named after a regular player) break 15 doors in a single round
    Joker - (named after a regulare player) play with an entire team that is on your friends list

    Any others?
