admins "helping" their teams - not so fair methods

Oki...so long story short:

Tonight i was playing on LA PR VS. Sacrifice campaign, first 2 maps ok

• On my team: votekick, Amishbull, kthor, bounty...and some others.
• on the opposite team: Achilles, TJ, Onyx, Spiritmonger and some more.
• ChooChoo spectating

3 things seamed very out of the ordinary

1. on the 2nd map of the Sacrifice (the one with the hill and bridge to the ship before the secondary saferoom) Achilles team seamed to benefit from random "MEGA-ULTRA-SUPER-DOOPER" fireballs. I mean, they were barely out of the safe-room(some of them not even out), no infected in sight and KABOOM!!! Both boomers exploded in an instant and they were fairly away from the door, the spiters, smokers right outside on the brick stacks caught on fire.....the next map, the same situation.....WTF?
2. Spiritmonger (http://stats.marvelous-gaming.com/hlstats.php?mode=playerinfo&player=418023). On the second map of the Sacrifice, his team was barely past the karma charges spots(the ones outside the saferoom) and he was already at the hill (worst part i think he was a main). Now i dunno if he had some sort of a speedhack or achilles teleported him across the map..dunno, the fact is that he was way waaayy ahead of the rest of the team
3. My team did not seem to benefit from the same "ULTRA-MEGA-SUPER-DOOPER FIREBALLS" at all...In fact we had none and achiles's team had at least 6-7. Don't tell me excuses like "you guys were winning anyway" cause that is total BS.....

I mean what was with all the help? If this keeps up, we will see survs walking through maxed out spit like it's not even there....

 

Smoke you are a donor , i will care to reply you and let me tell you there are no hackers or no admins helping their own team. If i will find any hacker or even if i find any admin is hacking , i will be the 1st person to ban him. And when i am in the server you can ensure fair gaming.Relax and enjoy MG .

 

I am, but what the hell was that man? i gave you 2 examples where your team had obvious advantages we did not. I was a smoker, on the roof when that happened and i caught on fire...how is that explainable?

 

It called buff angel of fire. If you still got doubts , some other admin will explain you ..

Begining of the round...there were no 100 infected on you and AFB does not have the radius and wall penetration those fireballs had. Unless your team had 100% chance then....

 

Smokke, we can always check the logs to see if an admin was responsible. Otherwise, i'm not sure what could have happened.

 

Chocobo seems to have identified the source, an admin power to explode things.

Can a root check this please.

 

I've seen what this command looks like, and from the description Smokke gave of what happened, that doesn't seem like what was used. This command actually literally explodes things, whereas smokke described something that caught on fire. Boomers have low health, so they were probably killed pretty quickly because of the fire.

EDIT: Talked to Smokke, he said this happened around 10 PM MST

 

sounds like an airstrike to me.

 

If theres no regular explanation for it, there are 2 possibilities then....

1. Chocobo is right, Airstrike
2. Explosion, your Position or Cursor Target


Check the Logs for the Commands.

Btw this explotion sound likes a barrel explode or an airstrike. but mostly airstrike blows people away near it. which didn't happen if i hear the story

 

collector, you are a normal admin ingame. Any gameserveradmins have in sm_admin the option exec config? at serveroptions?

Which option is create explosion? which number?

and why move this to the adminsection??

 

Well, i see this thread is public again so, i'm gonna share with all the repply i send you by pm.

The reason why I go ahead was because once i get inside the workshop your noob tank was blocking only one door instead of the leader, so I just pass through the other way, and since I have adrenaline run / speedy water buffs for non stop running (and I was a main), I decide not to fight whith the tank and keep moving. And by the way, before saying something ***** like "he has some hack" or "he was teletransported" u should ask your teammates because I remember killing at least 5 enemies on my way to the safe. (i'm positive that 2 of them were human players not bots)

And for the record, i'm not a child, i'm almost 30 and i enjoy playing games without the use of a cheat or the help of an admin, wich by the way i don't know him because i'm new in this server. I understand that u are mad because of what happended whith the fireballs (and I don't remember seeing it happen, i'm just talking about what I read in the chatbox of your complainings about it) but don't get paranoic, leave that for the tanks. In fact I play with you later tonight and there was nothing strange whith my character right?

Anyway, if that thing with the fireballs is true it's a shame because he is there to prevent that kind of things, after all, we all like fair play. See u in the game ;-)

in order to help, this ss where you can see smokke's complains about fireballs it was taken exactly 19 hs ago, that means that event (if it really happened) took place a few minutes before that, i hope that give admins a time frame for the search.[

lol i never moved it to Admin section.

lvl 1 server admins dont have exec config on EU servers. only on USA servers because of choochoo pathing.
And i never used exec config as i dont even know what it does when i saw it on USA servers
Also i know create explotion is under option 4. the reason i said i dont think its that is because he didn't say they got smashed around the room when it went off right infront of saferoom door. which should of happend if explotion(airstrike) is used

But all normal lvl 1 cant do any exec config on EU server as i know off.
will check log tomorrow who moved to admin section, but dont point fingers at me saying i moved it lol

edit: just noticed it was on USA server so ya. admins who know how to use exec config can do stuff like that

 

I checked the logs and I only saw choochoo do sm_admin, option 2, option 4, option 2

so if he doesnt have exec config on LA vs then he created the explosion :p

 

I'll check, Edit with my results.
