About The Voice quests (1st and 2nd quests) in relation to exp

Had a steam chat with a friend, so I'd thought i'd talk about some things to do with the voice questline that they wanted clarifying here:

    [20:33]
    Asmodius37 [™۞]:
If I can't get xp when 200, why on earth is it giving xp?
    This seems redundant

It used to be a level 195 and level 196 quest unlock for the first 2 quests respectively before they both became level 200 at some point. There's probably a better reason for it though.

    [20:34]
    Asmodius37 [™۞]:
Well be it as it may, I think it would be worth updating that if it doesn't update xp, they could give more cash/pills and/or possibly something else.
Since this just seems to add insult to injury.

    [20:34]
    timkit [™۞]:
    well
number II is supposed to give you a liquid enhancer

    [20:34]
    Asmodius37 [™۞]:
    Yes, I'm aware of that.
My thought is it should just give more FR pills or something and/or cash. I'm not sure what else is an option in this case.

    [20:36]
    timkit [™۞]:
a vending machine for when you reach level 201
    if you wanted to celebrate

    [20:36]
    Asmodius37 [™۞]:
The vending machine even seems a bit arbitrary, but still at least its 'bankable'.
And you could do other things with it.

    [20:37]
    timkit [™۞]:
    well

    [20:37]
    Asmodius37 [™۞]:
I don't know, I was just thinking about it yesterday.
So this is just my 2 cents, so take it for what it is worth.

In terms of reaching level 200, exp cannot be stored. However, what is being suggested here is a bit of a change to the quest rewards given for the 1st and 2nd quests (Exclude the Liquid Enhancer). This is just the 2 cents of thought though.

So... just wanted to ask you guys a question:
Thoughts on The Voice quests giving exp with 1st and 2nd quests? It doesn't bother me that much to be honest.

I think my point in this regard still stands. The question is 'but why though'? When you (apparently) could get it earlier, then xp completely makes sense. I didn't even see the quest till level 200 where then you xp is locked and frozen. Also, I happen to have a x5 booster running so this is effectively dead time for it. Yes I could solve this problem in seconds by visiting the store. You did mention that the quest at some point was given earlier (I'm not sure how early). As of now though with xp frozen at 200, literally anything else would do something as opposed to xp which does nothing for you. Timkit mentioned an interesting idea about a vending machine as a potential reward. I don't know enough about them aside from the fact they spit out toasters, but I could see them being an interesting alternative to xp or whatever. I'm sure there are other ideas out there and there could potentially be some interesting alternatives from people who know the game better. All I'm really getting at when it boils down to it is that as it currently stands, there isn't a point in including xp (from my point of view) in 'the voice' questlines when you get to 200. Maybe before there was, but if you don't see the quest till 200 then that changes things. So take what I say with a grain of salt.

The Voice quests are super old and as a result haven't been touched in years. Since I didn't implement them I would guess that it's more likely than not just an oversight.

The quests having a level requirement of 195 was also an oversight, since The Voice NPC is unlocked at Level 200, so it was never possible to take the quest that early anyway. What I can do is to instead award CEDA notes as they would then be usable upon reaching Level 201.

What are "CEDA notes"? Are you talking about those things that green/red/yellow (I'm not sure what the colors are, but I see them as a random item on occasion in random places).

Fair enough, that would fix the problem with people not gaining any exp at level 200.

CEDA notes are orange highlighted notes that looks like a notepad, similar to the Darwin's Notepad quest item required for one of his quests.
