Valentine's Day Event

Can't wait to continue having fun in the event! thanks for your hard work in preparing it!

 

Also for everyone that has subscribed to these addons, make sure the spinning 4 on your addons list has disappeared (mods are loaded up) before you join the event server for the first time, if you don't you will CTD (Crash To Desktop) on the second connect that happens.

just a good reminder for some of you that's all.

 

Is it not possible to temporarily ban players for 1 round after X amount of games? cause the cooldown is a waste of time and jumping around for 30 minutes is really boring. Never made it to a game yet, and quite frankly queuing for 4 hrs on multiple days to get into the server for the first time then getting kicked because you had to go grab food and water (2 minute timer) is rather unreasonable.

 

About Loli post imo didn't need Afk system is enough .

Pretty good event but some change "broke" a little the balanced , i explain :

- Nerf of cupid 3 to 1 lost a lot of interest , personaly i didn't rush when tank die , so i have now 25 B frgaments , 20 A for 2 D and 0 C , i know it's seem fragments drop% is the same but i'm not the only with this , only cupid give me before fragments i didn't have .

- Emily a little more hard , in short ( if you didn't die now coz it's harder ) you fighting a tank during 30mn for just a 1 fragments .. during this time you do a complete campagn , fighter and even halloween take less time for more reward ( they give a fragment too with some reward ) .

 

What pain said about tank dropping items is the problem imo, why would you want to make tank drop them. It would only promote rushing to whatever extent it is possible and its down to ping wars for those who do rush. In no way does it promote teamplay, tank rewards should be given to everyone on the server regardless since they either:
Died helping team
Helping team members that are behind/front
(Suiciders and afkers should not get rewards, although karma slaps and charges need to be accounted for somehow)
So it ends up being stay right behind the vanguard and trying your best not to die in self interest.

 

A request for the event server to remove cars, since car explosions put a big load on the server and people just exploding them cause cd time 10+ minutes then the server proceeds to crash followed by 50+ minutes of cd time.

 

I have to agree with Loli on this.

The cars do cause lag spikes (at least on my side), and people (what I see) will explode the cars first, just to prevent the tanks from causing more havoc in the later part of the game.

The new updates helps alot. without drops Less people are rushing for tanks, server regularly restarting after each round to prevent crashes, overall tank balances. Thank you Honorcode.

 

Already posted a win win situation for this but no idea why HC wont implement it.

at the stair of the main house theres a rendering bug (if your in lower half cant see upper half vice versa)

 

Honestly, I did not enjoy this year's event at all. Most likely it has something to do with my location (which cannot be helped), but I kept lagging and crashing once the battle started in the survival server. The only time I was stable was during the cooldown period.

I would have preferred last year's version, where the new tanks were introduced to the coop maps, where I don't lag. As I write this, I just crashed again, after spawning in dead and missing the Cupid tank. End rant.

P.S: I would've played Coop but then, those were mostly empty throughout the event.
